Weyermann was supported by eta Energieberatung in the introduction and certification of an energy management system according to ISO 50001. The annual recertification of the energy management system was also successfully achieved by the specialists from eta Energieberatung.
MAN Truck & Bus SE has set itself an ambitious goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% by 2025 compared to 2015. The introduction of the energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001:2018 in all plants and the continuous further development of the CO2 roadmap are essential building blocks for the Group on the way to achieving this goal.
eta Energieberatung also carried out the repeat audit for the SRH Group. During the audit, numerous individual measures were analysed and the potential savings identified. However, more urgent than the implementation of investment measures is the introduction of a comprehensive energy (data) management.
The company Borgers has been supported by eta Energieberatung for many years. The main focus of the consulting services was the establishment and maintenance of an energy management system according to ISO 50001, among other things a catalogue of efficiency measures was compiled, which shows annual CO2 savings of approx. 3,200 t resp. cost savings of 8 %.
Possibilities for energy savings in the amount of 13.5 million euros per year were identified. These range from organisational measures to larger investment measures such as the realisation of a natural gas CHP. Measures with immediate or short-term amortisation alone have a savings potential of 6.5 million euros per year.
