In these projects, local and district heating networks were planned and optimized by our experts.
Cities and municipalities are often faced with the task of converting former industrial areas, barracks, etc. into residential areas. So-called district concepts are usually the basis for decision-making. A multitude of questions have to be considered. An important point is the energy supply of such new residential areas. By working out different supply variants, these can be compared with each other.
In Engelsberg, a biomass heating plant with a capacity of 1,700 kW and a district heating network with a route length of approx. 7,400 m and 180 heat transfer stations were built. Afterwards, the biomass heating plant and the district heating network were optimised during operation.
At Lauterbach castle, which has been owned by the von Hundt family since the 15th century, the oil heating system was replaced by a woodchip heating system. A neighbouring house is also supplied with heat by this system. eta Energieberatung was commissioned with the planning of the wood chip heating with connected local heating network.
Erdgas Schwaben supplies the city of Dillingen with environmentally friendly and cost-effective bio-heat from a biomass ORC cogeneration plant. eta Energieberatung develops measures for the technical and operational optimisation of the biomass CHP plant with district heating network in Dillingen.
The waste heat of a local foundry was integrated into the existing heating network. The existing district heating network was extended to connect a school centre. In the course of this, extensive conversion and expansion measures were carried out on the existing hydraulic and control technology and a buffer storage tank was installed.
On behalf of the Stadtwerke Memmingen, the local heating network in the north industrial estate in Memmingen was evaluated according to technical and economic aspects with a view to a possible purchase. The investments of the heating network were estimated and the offer for sale was evaluated with regard to the appropriateness of the price.
