The technical feasibility and economic efficiency of different variants of CHP (combined heat and power) and CHPC (combined heat, power and cooling) were examined. From an economic point of view the realisation of a CHP in combination with an absorption chiller is very interesting. The investments will pay off after 3.3 years. An economic alternative is also a micro gas turbine for air preheating.
