The low-temperature waste heat from a conventional condensing power plant had not been used up to that point. The new concept envisages raising the temperature level by means of a heat pump to such an extent that the waste heat can be integrated into the production process in combination with a CHP unit and a pre-dryer. By integrating the waste heat into the production process, an annual energy cost saving of approx. 1 million \u20ac was achieved.<\/p>\n
