In the first step, eta Energieberatung<\/em> prepared a feasibility study. Here, different energetic variants for the regenerative energy supply of the Eirenschmalz company were compared with each other. In addition to the design and dimensioning of the energy generation systems, the use of various subsidies was taken into account. As a result, Eirenschmalz was able to develop and recommend an ecological and at the same time economically interesting energy concept. The results of the feasibility study served as the basis for the company’s positive investment decision for the expansion of the new regenerative energy production.<\/p>\n

The concept consists of several wood gasification CHP units, biomass boilers, a large buffer storage and the integration of PV systems. It is currently being implemented, and construction is already well advanced. In the future, Eirenschmalz will be more than 80 % self-sufficient in electricity and heat from renewable sources.<\/p>\n

eta Energieberatung<\/em> successfully supports Eirenschmalz in the planning of the plants, the application according to BImSchG and the support of the approval procedure, the plant certification according to VDE-AR-N 4110 as well as other questions. In addition, eta Energieberatung<\/em> has already been successful in acquiring funding for the project from the BAFA programme Energy and Resource Efficiency in the Economy, Module 2.<\/p>\n
