Marktredwitz - municipal local heating supply
Haag and Hammerberg are districts of the town of Marktredwitz and are to be supplied with local heating. The area under consideration consists of about 5 existing properties and a planned new development area with about 50 plots and predominantly single-family houses.
The heat is obtained from the waste heat of an existing biogas plant on the outskirts of the village, including a natural gas peak load boiler, and is fed into the pipeline network by the plant operator at the beginning. To distribute the heat, a heating network was constructed with PMR pipes, which are flexible composite pipes with a medium pipe made of plastic. The pipeline network comprises about 2,000 metres and was constructed using a double-pipe system.
