In addition to simplifying the complex and often lengthy approval process, the legislative package known as the "Wind-an-Land Act" primarily includes the requirement to provide sufficient land for wind energy utilisation. To ensure that local authorities do not lose their planning sovereignty, they must now react as quickly as possible. The utilisation of wind energy is also becoming increasingly interesting for companies.
Wind energy expansion
In the "Wind-an-Land Act", area targets were defined for the federal states, which will be implemented gradually and provide for a total of 2 % of Germany's land area to be used for wind energy by 2032.
To ensure that local authorities do not lose their planning sovereignty, they must now react as quickly as possible and submit corresponding areas to the planning associations in their region. Otherwise there is a risk that wind energy will be generally privileged in the entire planning region.
The utilisation of wind energy is also becoming increasingly interesting for companies. We would be happy to support you in the development and realisation of your own project as well as the complex issues involved in integrating it into your supply concept.
Sustainable energy supply
Many local authorities and companies are concerned with the increasing requirements to meet rising energy needs in the future with lower or zero emissions. Equipping roof surfaces with PV systems is now one of the standard measures. This can be perfectly complemented and expanded by wind energy.
Wind energy is another renewable energy source that has fundamentally different supply characteristics. In principle, a high level of generation is possible in bad weather as well as at night or in autumn and winter.
Wind energy will therefore become increasingly important here in the future. In addition to forest areas and along motorways, the main locations to be established are around industrial areas. There are also corresponding legislative initiatives for this.
There are also various options for companies to utilise wind energy. We will be happy to support you with questions regarding electricity procurement, possible investments or the development of your own project, as well as complex issues regarding integration into your supply concept.
Public participation
Citizens are often directly or indirectly affected by wind energy projects. To ensure the acceptance of such projects, it is important to involve local residents in the planning process as early as possible.
By creating opportunities for sustainable investments through citizen participation and citizen electricity models, the discussion can be objectified and reservations dispelled.
These models enable individuals to participate directly in the energy transition and benefit financially at the same time. They have now proven their worth and are already a prerequisite for the realisation of a wind energy project at some locations.
